Following the accident to flight TWA 800, the influences on fuel tank safety have been widely discussed in recent years, to establish means by which fuel tank explosions can be prevented in future. An important factor of the issued means is to increase the knowledge of the maintenance staff about the required safety items of the fuel tanks. For such purpose, a training of Fuel Tank Safety is required which should be hold in different levels (phases) for different involvement of the staff in maintenance activities.
