Aviation Legislation Course Syllabus

According to

• EASA Part-145 GM2 145.A.30(e), and
• CAO.IRI-145 Appendix VII (Component Certifying staff) and
• Part-66 Appendix I Module 10,

the following contents is recommended for the Managers, Planners, Supervisors, Certifying Staff, Support Staff, Mechanics, Specialized Service Staff and Quality Audit Staff involved in an approved maintenance organisation:

1. Introduction
2. Regulatory Framework
3. Continuing Airworthiness (Part-M)
4. Certifying Staff – Maintenance (Part-66)
5. Approved Maintenance Organizations (Part-145)
6. Air Operations
7. Certification of aircraft, parts and appliances
8. Applicable National and International Requirements
9. Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) familiarization and application

Additionally, a regular 2-year updating procedure for the relevant knowledge of the above contents is necessary. The reference for such procedure is the approved Maintenance Organisation MOE.
